how- to make blackening seasoning

Easy, easy, lemon squeezy! Except no lemon. It looks like sand art, doesn't it? But once you shake this jar up you will have the most delicious, savory, smokey and tempting blackening spice in all the land! Or at least in all your kitchen.
Blackening Seasoning
4 Tablespoons smoked paprika
4 Tablespoons onion powder
4 Tablespoons garlic powder
3 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons chili powder
5 Tablespoons salt
1 Tablespoon celery salt
4 teaspoons black pepper
4 teaspoons cumin powder
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons dried mustard
1 teaspoons ground nutmeg, or several grates of fresh nutmeg

Combine all above ingredients in a mason jar or a small mixing bowl. Shake (or stir) to combine thoroughly. This spice can be kept in a cabinet for up to 6 months, like any spice.
