buffalo turkey meatball sandwiches

This is what came out of Ed's mouth as he was eating this sandwich- "These are awesome!" That's a satisfying seal of approval right there.
Meatball, meatball! Pasta on the side! Just pretend you could hear me singing that, or maybe not. Meatballs are great, these are basically perfect so it's a win-win. Ground turkey, ranch dressing, hot sauce and cheese?! Awesome! Grated carrot- okay. Just kidding, I love carrots.
This is what you want. Turkey has so much water in it if you don't use breadcrumbs and oatmeal, the meat mixture will be really loose and that's not what you want.
These little beauties go into the oven already infused with buffalo and ranch flavors. 500 degrees for 15-18 minutes... and...
Now that these are complete, the meatballs get placed between 2 buns along with maybe a little extra hot sauce, some ranch dressing and cheddar cheese. You'll adore these as much as Ed did!
Buffalo Turkey Meatball Sandwiches
Once again, thank you Buns in My Oven!
1 lb ground turkey
1 egg
1 cup shredded mozzarella
1/2 cup grated carrot
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup quick oats
1/2 cup ranch dressing
1/2 cup hot sauce
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
Bakery style rolls
Additional ranch and hot sauce

Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Combine together ground turkey, egg, mozzarella, carrot, breadcrumbs, oats, ranch dressing and hot sauce. Roll meat mixture into balls approximately 1 1/2 inch in diameter. Line the meatballs into a baking pan and cook in the oven for 15-18 minutes until the internal temperature is 165 degrees. Serve meatballs on a bakery roll with extra ranch and hot sauce as well as cheddar cheese. Enjoy!
