File this under "not approved by Ed" meals. Not that he didn't enjoy it- he actually said that the salad dressing was great, but he did make faces as I placed a salad in front of him for dinner. Too bad, so sad for him. Something healthy for dinner!
I mean, this is really pretty easy to throw together. There are a lot of ingredients in the dressing, but it's everything I already had in the pantry. Here's the layered look...
And here's the "all shook up" version. So good, we used it all up. This would also make an awesome chicken marinade as well.
The Best Salad Dressing

1/3 cup olive oil
2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
2 Tablespoons honey
1/2 Tablespoons Dijon mustard
1/2 Tablespoon soy sauce
1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
1 teaspoon all seasons salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 clove garlic, grated on a microplane
Combine all above ingredients using a whisk or shaken in a mason jar. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a week.
